Hiring Portable Toilets for Your Wedding: Should You Hire an Attendant?

About Me

Interesting Facts About the Industrial Sector When I graduated from university and moved into my own place, the only house I could afford was right near a manufacturing plant. At first, I thought living in the industrial part of the city would be a nightmare, but it actually turned out to be fascinating. I quickly developed an interest in industrial equipment and supplies, and spent many evenings walking around the factories to get a better look at what was going on inside. Since then, I've moved to a quiet part of the city, but my interest in industry never waned. Since I don't have the luxury of being able to visit the industrial district anymore, I thought I'd do the next best thing--start a blog about it!

If you're planning a big outdoor wedding, then you may be considering portable toilet hire or a couple of bathroom blocks to make sure your guests have quick and easy access to loos during your big day. You may think that the only decision you need to make here is the number of individual toilets or the size of bathroom blocks; however, there are other things you can add to the mix here that may make you and your guests more comfortable. For example, some portable toilet hire companies hire out attendants as well as toilets. Is this a good idea?

Attendants Give You One Less Thing to Worry About

While portable toilet hire companies will typically take most of the strain out of creating temporary toilet facilities for your wedding, this may not tick all your boxes. For example, the company may well deliver and position your toilets or bathroom block and leave you enough supplies of toilet paper, paper towels and soap to last through the day. Then once the big day is over, they'll take everything away again.

However, this does leave you with a gap where you may have to deal with any issues that arise with the toilets. The last thing you'll want to deal with on your wedding day is guests telling you that a toilet has run out of toilet paper, that a cubicle smells bad or that your Dad has taken off his jacket, rolled up his sleeves and is attempting to fix a blocked toilet. If you hire an attendant along with your portable toilets, you'll have somebody who can take responsibility for looking after your facilities so that you and your guests don't have to.

Attendants Add a Touch of Luxury

Giving your guests a toilet attendant does add an extra touch, even if the attendant is just there to make sure that your toilets or bathrooms are fully stocked and kept clean. To add a bit of luxury, some companies offer more of a higher-end experience, especially if you're hiring bathroom blocks rather than standalone portaloos. For example, you could arrange to have a uniformed attendant stationed in in your portable bathrooms handing out towels and cologne to your guests as well as keeping a general eye on the facilities.

If you think you might like to hire attendants along with portable toilets, then talk to local portable toilet hire companies to see what services they offer. Even a basic attendant service may make your day more enjoyable; a higher-end attendant service could be the icing on the cake.
